Chateau Ste Michelle to kick off Summer Concert series this week
Whether you’re a wine drinker or not, Chateau Ste Michelle has something in store for you. They’re kicking off their Summer Concert Series this week with their largest lineup yet.
It's the Chateau's 39th season celebrating the concert series, and this year, they’re going big!
"We’re going to have 39 shows this season so our largest lineup yet and we’re excited. It's going to kick off this Thursday and Friday with James Taylor and the season is going to run all the way through the end of September," Chateau Ste Michelle's Communications Director Lynda Eller said.
Whether you like pop, rock, country, or jazz, they got you covered. Their amphitheater holds up to 4,500 people. They’re expecting 150,000 people this year, and so far 12 out of 39 shows are sold out.
"Usually we encourage you to bring a picnic blanket and you can start your journey in the retail shop, you’re welcome to bring your own picnic items if you’d like, then you’ll make your way to the outdoor amphitheater find a spot you enjoy, and we also have some wonderful food vendors too if people want to enjoy some food," Eller said.
If you need something to pair your picnic snacks with, check out their limited edition summer concert series wine! A dollar from every bottle sold goes to the Chateau Ste Michelle College Scholarship Fund.
"I can't think of anything better than live music, outside, on a beautiful summer night. When it's clear you can see Mt. Rainier and just enjoying wine with food and friends and fans around you enjoying that same experience that you are," Eller said.
