It is art show season. Pick a community this month and there is not a weekend where there isn't an art show in one of them. Perhaps the biggest of the year takes place this Saturday and Sunday in Cape Coral. Police actually shut down Cape Coral Parkway starting at Del Prado, quite a feat. It's done to accommodate the hundreds of artists and tens of thousands of people who show up for the annual Cape Coral Art Festival and Marketplace.

When it comes to music, art shows may be more of a jazz theme. However, if you’re more into rock and roll, there is a really fun cover band event taking place at The Alliance of the Arts in Fort Myers. You’ll find all the details below. Something for everyone. Finally, for you sports fans, Spring Training tickets are on sale. You will be able to purchase them at the box offices of the Twins and Red Sox stadiums this weekend, as well as online.
